Just a quick note to let you know Viking has opened up bookings for four segments on its upcoming 2024-2025 World Cruise. The epic World Cruise voyage of discovery departs Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on 19 December 2024 and will traverse the globe on the award-winning Viking Sky before arriving in London on 6 May 2025.

I have summarised below the segments and highlights for you, but we have some new African ports of interest and the Seychelles, Maldives, and exotic Sri Lanka in between. Viking all-inclusive has everything guests need covered from included excursions, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, WiFi and the companion flies free!

  • 32-day Jewels of the South Pacific from Los Angeles to Sydney
  • 24-day Treasures of Australia & Indonesia from Sydney to Singapore
  • 35-day Asia Isles & Coasts of Africa from Singapore to Cape Town
  • 33-day Cape Town to London Passage from Cape Town to London

2024-2025 World Cruise Segments Highlights:

Treasures of Australia & Indonesia departs Sydney on 6 February 2025 and visits 10 ports in three countries, with overnight stays in Cairns, Bali, Java, and Singapore.

Guests will witness an ever-changing landscape of modern cities and natural wonders. They will explore Australia’s coastal gems and pristine islands before immersing themselves in nature in Komodo’s national park. Temples, Balinese crafts, and the cultural riches of Java await discovery before the journey concludes in cosmopolitan Singapore on March 10 2024.  

Natural wonders and ancient lands await on the Cape Town to London Passage departing Cape Town on 4 April 2025, visiting 15 ports in nine countries, with overnights in Namibia, Morocco (Agadir & Casablanca) and London.

Guests will sail Africa’s west coast to witness the Namib Desert, the world’s oldest arid land, and home to the world’s tallest dune. Guests will explore Angola’s Portuguese-speaking city of Luanda, its fascinating heritage and modern outlook. Cape Verde provides an idyllic archipelago to sail with its mountainous peaks and pristine beaches, while Morocco’s ancient sites will be admired before tracing the Iberian Peninsula to London to delve into its royal history. The journey concludes with a one-night stopover in London on 8 May 2024.
