SWISS is responding to the recent developments in the Middle East. After careful consideration, the airline has decided to suspend flights from Zurich to Tel Aviv and back (LX252 and LX253) until and including Thursday, 08 August. Flights to and from Beirut will also remain suspended until and including Monday, 12 August.
SWISS is in close communication with its staff in Tel Aviv and is offering them the opportunity to leave the country.
We deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause our passengers, but the safety of our passengers and crew always takes top priority. Affected passengers will be contacted directly. Of course, we offer free rebooking to a later date or a full refund of the ticket price.
