Opera and High Tea at Bells at Killcare: A Delightful Fundraising Event for Bouddi Foundation for the Arts
Killcare, NSW – Bells at Killcare is thrilled to announce a special fundraising event combining the elegance of opera with a delicious high tea, all in support of the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts. Join us on Sunday September 22 at 3:00 PM for an enchanting afternoon filled with exquisite music, delightful treats, and a shared passion for the arts.
Set against the stunning backdrop of The Conservatory at Bells at Killcare, this unique event invites guests to enjoy a sumptuous high tea featuring a selection of drinks, handcrafted pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and fine teas, all while being serenaded by the wonderful voices of two of Opera Australia’s legendary stars, Cheryl Barker AO and, Peter Coleman-Wright AO.
During their long and illustrious careers, Cheryl and Peter (husband & wife) have sung in the world’s most acclaimed opera houses including La Scala (Milan), The Met (New York), Covent Garden (London) and the Paris Opera.
After a conversation with the Foundation’s Chairman John Bell AO, Cheryl and Peter will share some of their favourite pieces in their opera repertoire.
An intimate & very special event with two of Opera Australia’s greats. The afternoon promises to be a feast for the senses, celebrating both culinary excellence and the beauty of vocal artistry.
“We are excited to host this wonderful event and contribute to the young local artists of Bouddi Foundation for the Arts,” said Karina Barry, Founder of Bells at Killcare. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together, enjoy world-class performances, and support the next generation of local artists.”
Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts, which provides scholarships and opportunities for emerging artists in the region. The foundation has a strong commitment to fostering creativity and ensuring that the arts continue to thrive in our community.
Guests will have the chance to mingle with the performers, go in the draw to win an exclusive raffle item, and learn more about the impact of their contributions on local artists. This is not just an event; it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and the power of the arts.
