EDITION Hotels announces the return of Anton Moore to the team, as he takes on his new role as General Manager of The Lake Como EDITION, anticipated to open in early 2025.
In 2010, Moore joined Marriott International and was instrumental in the introduction of the then-new luxury lifestyle brand, EDITION. He joined the EDITION brand team as Global Director of Entertainment Sales and was quickly promoted to Senior Director of Global Sales in 2013. Opening five hotels including Miami Beach, London and New York, his efforts with each property helped shape the culture and trajectory of the brand.
Anton has a thoughtful and distinct approach to hospitality, cultivated over 20 years of launching
and managing some of the world’s most iconic hotel brands including EDITION Hotels, Waldorf Astoria and
Ashford Castle in Mayo County Ireland. In his most recent role, Anton brought notable hospitality expertise
to the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in the Meatpacking District in New York City as General Manager.
Over the course of his career, he has amassed an impressive cache of awards, including Hilton’s
“2007 Manager of the Year,” “2009 Circle of Excellence Award” and most notably in 2019, named a
Distinguished Waldorf Astoria Alumni, a unique honor bestowed on only a select few throughout the
hotel’s rich history. He was awarded “2022 HSMAI Greater New York Chapter General Manager of the
Year”, also securing “BLLA Boutique Hotel General Manager of the Year” that same year.
Anton firmly believes that those in hospitality must have an inherent passion for service and the lifestyle that
the industry promises its guests. Moore’s personal allegiance to the industry results in his ability to assemble
top-notch teams of like-minded individuals, thus delivering unforgettable hotel experiences. His return to EDITION marks an exciting time for the brand with the expansion of its global presence to Lake Como.
