Who needs Paris when there’s the Paris Café?!

The TWA Hotel at JFK Airport once again stuck its landing at the World Travel Awards (WTA), the Olympics of the global travel, tourism and hospitality industry! The competition was fierce, but the landmark took the podium as North America’s Leading Airport Hotel.

The TWA Hotel also clinched the titles of the United States’ Leading Airport Hotel and New York’s Leading Airport Hotel for the fifth year in a row.

To declare winners for the World Travel Awards’ 31st annual ceremony, the public voted alongside recognized travel professionals from February to April 2024.

The restored 1962 TWA Flight Center — designed by late architect Eero Saarinen, designer of The Gateway Arch in Missouri — offers 512 guestrooms with views of the New York landmark and JFK’s Runway 4L/22R.

Guests can plane-spot from the observation deck and infinity pool overlooking the active runways; work out in the 10,000-square-foot fitness center; dine at the Paris Café by Jean- Georges; play in the life-size Twister Room; enjoy free museum exhibits, including an archive of TWA uniforms; and get ready for take-off on the restored 1958 Lockheed Constellation “Connie” airplane turned cocktail lounge. Located at Terminal 5 across from JetBlue, guests can roll out of bed and onto their flight, or take a quick AirTrain ride to their next destination.

The TWA Hotel is the fan favorite in its field, recently winning the Best Airport Hotel in North America by Skytrax, the renowned international air transport rating organization.
