LVN Restaurant, located among the art-filled gardens and rolling grapevines of Bird in Hand’s Woodside estate in Adelaide Hills, has been nominated for the prestigious Best New Restaurant award by Australian Gourmet Traveller. The recognition celebrates LVN’s commitment to culinary excellence and innovative use of native Australian ingredients sourced from Peramangk and Kaurna lands and waters.

Under the leadership of executive chef Jacob Davey, LVN Restaurant offers a unique dining experience characterised by a series of 8-10 intricate dishes served at a gentle and rhythmic pace. The restaurant’s setting, with its earthy decor, natural light and intriguing collection of Australian and international art, enhances the presentation of each course alongside Bird in Hand wines.

The Australian Gourmet Traveller Annual Restaurant Awards, the country’s most prestigious and longest-running national restaurant awards, will announce the winners on August 19 at an exclusive ceremony at Catalina, one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront restaurants. The event celebrates Australia’s leading hospitality talent and the most exciting new culinary experiences.
