This landmark event at the prestigious T. Mariotti shipyard in San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy, signifies a new era in high-end maritime travel.

In collaboration with Cruise Saudi, Aman’s latest venture promises to set new standards in luxury sea voyages. The 183-meter (600-foot) vessel, featuring only 50 opulent suites, each with a private balcony, is scheduled to welcome its first guests in 2027. This exclusive yacht aims to redefine luxury, offering unparalleled privacy, space, and service, hallmarks of the Aman brand.

The keel-laying ceremony was a historic occasion attended by key figures, including Jonathan Wilson, CEO of Aman at Sea; Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi; and Marco Ghiglione, CEO of T.Mariotti. They collectively laid the first 200-ton steel block, adhering to the maritime tradition of placing newly minted coins on the steel for good luck during construction and future voyages.

T.Mariotti, renowned for its expertise in constructing ultra-luxury cruise and expedition vessels and superyachts since 1928, has been entrusted with this groundbreaking project. Aman at Sea is not only about luxury but also about sustainability. The vessel will be the first dual-fuel-powered new build, utilizing marine diesel oil and methanol. The yacht will feature an array of exquisite dining options, including an informal all-day restaurant, international dining venues, a relaxed club and lounge, and a serene Aman Spa with a Japanese garden. The amenities will include two helipads and an expansive Beach Club, providing guests with direct access to the water from the yacht’s stern.
