Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) has launched a new website for members and clients which includes a comprehensive digital planning tool.
Lisa Hopkins, BEIA Chief Executive says their goal has been to create the definitive guide to business events in New Zealand.
“We are incredibly proud to be launching this new resource. Everything organisers need to know about planning a business event in New Zealand is now at their fingertips in one interactive site,” she says.
Membership information, regional insights, news updates, events and programmes, industry stats and other useful resources are all easily accessed via the new site.
BEIA’s online planning tool replaces the printed Event Planners’ Guide, produced for 30 years and fondly known as the ‘Industry Bible’.
Developed within the website, it has been designed to assist clients searching for their next event destination and venue. Event planners can find and select regions and suppliers based on their individual requirements.
BEIA demonstrated the new planning tool to clients at MEETINGS 2024 in Rotorua last month.
“The feedback we received was overwhelmingly enthusiastic,” Hopkins says. Comments included: ‘Love this!’, ‘This is going to save me hours of googling’, and ‘Thank you BEIA, you’ve just made my job a lot easier!’.
