Care Bears™ will launch an Australian-first afternoon tea at the Langham Melbourne, a joy-filled experience for children and families during the July school holidays.
This exclusive fun-filled experience will only be running for two short weeks, where guests are invited to fully immerse themselves in the cheerful world of Care Bears complete with the breathtaking view of the Yarra River.
The Regional Director Marketing, Andre Jacques said “we’re very excited to collaborate with Care Bears over these July school holidays. Their worldwide messages of love, positivity, caring, and friendship is something that aligns with The Langham and are great values that we want to share with the younger generation.”
The menu has been specifically designed to evoke childhood nostalgia, featuring bespoke afternoon tea treats inspired by Care Bears. These morning tea treats include whimsical creations such as Flourless Orange Friend Bear Cake, Cheer Up Daisy Cupcake, Funshine Lemon Chocolate Macaron, and Care Bear Shortbread Cookie.
Children and adults are invited to enjoy their afternoon tea in the company of their favourite care bears including, Grumpy Bear, Share Bear as well as Cheer Bear.
The Care Bear brand is currently experiencing a resurgence following its 40th Birthday, with the announcement of six all-new animated ‘Care Bears: Unlock the Magic’ specials scheduled to debut throughout this year.
“Last school holidays we ran a Barbie inspired afternoon tea which was a huge success. It was such a popular event families were asking us to bring it back and we thought Care Bears shared the perfect level of nostalgia for parents and excitement for children.” Said Andre Jacques.
Running from Monday 8 July to Sunday 14 July, this heartwarming event will bring the beloved Care Bears to life in a magical setting. Sessions will be held twice daily, from 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.
