Auckland remains the events capital of New Zealand, boasting the best international air services and the most significant number of venues.

At MEETINGS 2024 in Rotorua, professional conference organisers spoke highly of other cities as well—Rotorua (which put on a stunning MEETINGS, drawing admiration and awe), Wellington and Christchurch, and Hamilton, which has a growing reputation for organising and hosting flawless events.

Auckland Conventions Venues & Events runs New Zealand’s most extensive portfolio of iconic venues. Its manager of convention sales, Richard Dodds, revealed at MEETINGS yesterday that one of the group’s venues, the Viaduct Events Centre, known for its impressive waterfront location, is so famous that it has events organised for 26 of the 30 days in December.

Auckland Conventions Venues & Events caters for all types of events: meetings, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, and awards ceremonies for groups of 10 to 2000 people. More than 60 versatile spaces are available throughout Auckland City Centre and greater Auckland to suit any occasion.

Its venues are: Aotea Centre, Auckland Art Gallery, Auckland Town Hall, Auckland Zoo, Bruce Mason Centre, Go Media Stadium, New Zealand Maritime Museum, North Harbour Stadium, Shed 10, The Civic, The Cloud, and the Viaduct Events Centre.
