Rail Europe - logoGlobal rail and bus booking aggregator Rail Europe has partnered with Visit Britain to showcase its latest e-brochure, which features a collection of exciting four-, seven—, and 15-day sample itineraries covering single and multiple European countries.

The new brochure was launched at the British Embassy in Sydney earlier this week.

Deputy Consul General Jonathan Cook greeted the team from Rail Europe, and General Manager Asia Pacific of Rail Europe Rich Leonard welcomed the 30 wholesalers, agents and media to the function. “In response to the many travel advisors seeking fresh inspiration to help their clients, this comprehensive e-brochure will provide them with a solid base from which they can further develop, tailor and refine their itineraries. Travel spending has overtaken pre-COVID times, with sales tripling since 2022. The resurgence of night train travel has also made a significant positive impact.

Rail Europe works with rail experts to provide technology solutions and customer care services to +15,000 partners in more than 70 countries. The catalogue of products focuses on 200 rail providers such as SNCF, SBB, Eurostar, Trenitalia, Italo, DB, Renfe, ÖBB, SNCB, NS, OUIGO Spain, and National Rail, as well as rail passes, including the Swiss Travel Pass and Eurail Passes. Interestingly, Rail Europe was founded in New York in 1932 to sell the French train journeys to the Americans. The first trip was from Paris to Lyon, which is still one of the most popular on the network.

1959 Rail Europe added another famous brand, Eurail, to the booking platform and expanded into Australia and New Zealand with Rail Plus in 1995.

Approaching its century of service, Rail Europe has grown to be one of the world’s most extensive rail and bus aggregators. Rail Europe is an official reseller of the tickets and passes that their partners create.

The e-brochure can be viewed and downloaded here or via Rail Europe’s closed FB page, which advisors must join to access and download the brochure.
