Hailing from South Korea, Chef Min A began her journey in the culinary world in 2010 as a commis chef at Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport. Her dedication and talent quickly propelled her career forward, leading her to roles of increasing responsibility at prestigious Hyatt properties worldwide. With her rich background spanning over a decade within the Hyatt family, Chef Min A’s culinary journey has taken her from the bustling kitchen of Park Hyatt in Busan to Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Niseko and Siem Reap.

Her innovative approach to cooking and unwavering commitment to quality have earned her accolades at every step of her career. Now, as Cluster Executive Sous Chef, Chef Min A looks forward to delighting guests with her creative flair and distinctive culinary creations, while overlooking the culinary operations at both Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter in the culinary offerings of both properties, promising unforgettable dining experiences for guests from around the world.

Building on the excitement surrounding Chef Min A’s appointment, Andaz Bali is delighted to present its Woks Around the World Korean Fortnight, an exclusive culinary experience, this time featuring authentic Korean delicacies. From May 18 to 31, 2024, guests are invited to indulge in the rich flavors of Korea for both lunch and dinner at the Village Square. Enjoy a diverse culinary experience with two distinct menus: Bunsik, showcasing Korean snacks during lunch, and Hansik, featuring traditional Korean cuisine for dinner. Guests are welcome to embark on a culinary journey inspired by Chef Min A’s heritage and expertise, promising an unforgettable dining experience for all.

From the Bunsik menu, guests are invited to indulge in a variety of authentic Korean snacks, including Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, gimbap, and more, all aimed at bringing the rich flavors of Korea to Sanur. In addition to the delectable snack menu, guests can immerse themselves in the experience of Korean BBQ nights on the grass at Alun Alun. Anticipate savoring the flavors of authentic Korean BBQ, reminiscent of those seen on television. Indulge in premium beef cuts, all served with homemade banchan.
