Esteemed Mornington Peninsula winery Pt. Leo Estate has joined the Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia (UWEA) collective.
Located a 90-minute drive from Melbourne on the eastern side of the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, the spectacular property features sweeping views across the vineyards and out to the ocean, with glimpses of the famous Phillip Island in the distance.
Opened in 2017, Pt. Leo Estate boasts two hatted dining spaces (Laura, which has two hats, and Pt. Leo Restaurant which has one hat) alongside Australia’s largest privately-owned sculpture park, and a magnificent architecturally designed cellar door.
Specialising in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, the Estate’s premium wines are produced from a sustainably managed 50-acre onsite vineyard which was planted in 2006.
Guests visiting Pt. Leo Estate can explore the property and its hospitality offering through an array of unique experiences, ranging from the Vineyard and Wine Immersion which includes a walking wine tasting in the vineyard and light snacks by the lake, to a Vintage Vertical delving into museum-release wines of a single varietal.
For a comprehensive, full-day snapshot of Pt. Leo Estate, the Laura Signature Luxe Experience includes a five-course wine-matched degustation at the Estate’s two-hatted restaurant Laura, combined with a guided exploration of the 16-acre Sculpture Park, a personalised bespoke wine tasting and a take-home gift.
Optional transfers in the Estate’s private 11-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter can be arranged for all experiences, to and from Melbourne or nearby accommodation.
Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia Executive Officer Sarah Myers welcomed the premium producer to the collective.

Pt. Leo Estate joins Ten Minutes by Tractor and Montalto as the third Mornington Peninsula-based winery in the UWEA collective. In the spirit of collaboration, guests visiting Pt. Leo Estate can experience a taste of the region with the Mornington Masterclass experience, which includes a guided tasting of wines from all three of the region’s Ultimate Wineries, which are located just a few kilometres apart.
Pt. Leo Estate is open seven days from 11am, and is located at 3649 Frankston Flinders Road, Merricks, Victoria.
