The Langham, Gold Coast, is proud to announce its partnership with international fashion and beauty house, Carolina Herrera, to celebrate the launch of Good Girl Blush Elixir, the brand’s latest fragrance.
Hosted within the grandeur of The Langham’s highly acclaimed Palm Court, this afternoon tea showcases a collection of Carolina Herrera-inspired delicacies, meticulously crafted by Executive Pastry Chef, Johann Vanier, to encapsulate the essence of the House’s most intense feminine fragrance with notes of uplifting Italian bergamot, sensual rose, creamy vanilla, and intoxicating patchouli.
This exclusive partnership will take over the luxury hotel for three weeks only in May coinciding with Mother’s Day, providing the perfect option for those looking to treat their mums, mother figures – or themselves, and indulge in a taste of the finer things in life.
“We are thrilled to bring together the timeless sophistication of Carolina Herrera with The Langham afternoon tea, one of our brand pillars, elevating our offering to new heights through an immersive experience that represents a fusion of two brands renowned for elegance and excellence.” Said John O’Shea, General Manager of The Langham, Gold Coast.
Chef Vanier took inspiration from the sweet but sensual scent, and said, “Crafting the perfect sweet taste to compliment Carolina Herrera’s latest fragrance, Good Girl Blush Elixir, has inspired me to think beyond the taste, exploring the affinity the two brands have as the different ingredients are so multi-faceted and encapsulate the balance between light and dark and feminine and masculine.”
Chef Vanier has honed and built his culinary knowledge under the tutelage of some of the world’s finest Michelin-starred French restaurants. Hailing from the coast of Biarritz, Chef Vanier draws inspiration from his French heritage to combine the finest locally-sourced Australian ingredients with an innovative approach to the art of pastry-making.
Savoury enthusiasts can anticipate delicacies crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, such as Australian Bay lobster embraced by vanilla-scented crème fraiche, salmon roe and nasturtium. Meanwhile, those with a sweet tooth can find the perfume’s aromas in delectable desserts such as a pear & Tonka bean petit gateau with almond sponge, pear compote and Tonka cremeux.
The Carolina Herrera Afternoon Tea will run from May 9th to June 2nd, with a limited number of seatings available Thursday to Sunday, between 2pm – 5pm with the last seatings taking place at 4pm.
Prices are set at $109 on weekdays and $119 on weekends, and each guest attending the Carolina Herrera afternoon tea will take home an exclusive sample of the fragrance and have the opportunity to enter the draw to win one of three Carolina Herrera gift packs valued at $1,000.
