Melco Resorts & Entertainment actively supports the SAR government’s efforts to enhance economic diversification in Macau by promoting the coordinated development of “tourism +” to contribute to the city’s status as a world tourism and leisure center. This year, Melco is honored to be a co-organizer of Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM)’s 2024 Macao International Parade which will be hosted on Sunday, March 24.

Ahead of this weekend’s major Parade event, pre-heat performances by European and South American groups, including Comparsa Shambala, Spain; Underwater Dream, Germany; Dodos, France; Grande Cantagiro Barattoli, Italy; and Odília Nunes, Brazil, took place at Melco’s Studio City this evening. Now in its 10th edition, the Parade will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Macau’s Return to the Motherland with nearly 1,800 artistes from more than 80 local and overseas groups performing under the theme of “Love, Peace and Cultural Integration”. Bringing a feast of cultural exchange to the public, the Parade will feature the works of performance groups from around the world, including Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Togolese Republic, France, Spain, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau. Melco will further be hosting an interactive booth at the VIVA Carnival to be presented at Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van on Sunday.
