The Langham, Melbourne, is delighted to announce that Barbie is returning to the hotel for the upcoming April school holidays to coincide with Barbie’s 65th Anniversary. The Celebrate Barbie Afternoon Tea will be held twice daily from Monday 8 April to Saturday 13 April (11:30am – 1:30pm & 2:30pm – 4:30pm).
Tea party guests will once again be hosted in Alto, The Langham’s luxury event space
25 floors aboveground which boasts magnificent views over the Melbourne city skyline and Yarra River.
From young children, to grandparents, Barbie has captured the hearts of generations around the globe and this event will be a celebration of the world’s most iconic fashion doll. Barbie has inspired generations to follow their dreams and pursue their aspirations and, as such, the hotel is inviting Barbie lovers of all ages to join in the fun.
For the first time, guests can host their Birthday party at the event with group
bookings being accepted (up to 10 guests) and Barbie birthday cakes available for an additional $75.
All guests will indulge in an array of whimsical and colourful treats inspired by Barbie herself, including a Red velvet cupcake, Passionfruit macarons, Chocolate strawberry truffle, Chocolate and salted caramel tart, plus Scones with rhubarb and raspberry jam.
There will also be a delicious array of hot and cold savoury items on offer, with both a children’s menu and adult menu being served.
The Celebrate Barbie Afternoon Tea is priced at $90 per child, which includes a Barbie to take home and activity pack and $95 per adult inclusive of a glass of Australian sparkling wine and tea and coffee.
