Queensland’s eco-award winning Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat has introduced Ultimate Wellness – its new signature seven night retreat that will replace the Gwinganna Detox from 24 March 2024.
The Ultimate Wellness retreat builds on the foundations of the Detox retreat and provides guests with a transformational experience through its holistic approach to personal wellbeing, addressing mindset, nutrition, body movement and education.
‘We have incorporated the latest scientific research in the new Ultimate Wellness retreat where we focus on the key aspects of our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and explore cognitive health, longevity and bio-hacks for living well,’ said Gwinganna General Manager Deb Munster.
‘We’ve melded the best parts of the Detox retreat, such as the anti-inflammatory gourmet cuisine, daily activity program and access to our wellness practitioners, with a seminar program that has evolved to empower guests with information, insights and take home tips,’ said Deb Munster.
Key seminar presenters include holistic Medical Doctor Dr Karen Coates, Naturopath and Registered Nurse Shannon McNeill, Neurotherapist Cameron Oates and Wellness Innovator Sharon Kolkka.
During their week-long stay, guests can unwind and relax at Gwinganna’s Spa – the largest in the Southern Hemisphere – with a diverse range of treatments including therapeutic massage, beauty treatments, eastern therapies like acupuncture, TCM and ayurveda, equine therapy, infrared, steam and LED light therapies. Personal consultations can be made with wellness experts including nutritionists, naturopaths, physical therapists, psychologists and counsellors.
Located high in the Tallebudgera Valley with spectacular views of the valley and ocean, Gwinganna invites guests to connect to the calming elements of nature and discover the property’s 200 hectares of pristine native bushland with a vast range of bushwalks on offer.
Fully inclusive packages start from $4,555 per person and include seven-night’s accommodation, all organic meals, snacks and beverages, two classic massages, one essential facial, $100 wellness therapy credit, wellness seminars and a cooking demonstration, daily program of activities, access to all facilities including two swimming pools, steam room and gym, and complimentary transfers from Gold Coast Airport at set times.
