Melco Resorts & Entertainment participated as a title sponsor of the Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Dragon organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), welcoming the Chinese New Year with a dazzling golden dragon-themed float. Supporting the Company’s economic diversification efforts, the float was showcased to citizens and tourists as part of the First Parade which took place on the third day of the Chinese Near Year (February 12), travelling through Sai Van Lake Square, Av. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, Macao Science Center before arriving at its destination at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.
This year, Melco’s CNY float combined elements to reflect the architectural elegance and playfulness of its various integrated resorts. The gold and silver float is inspired by Morpheus at City of Dreams while imitating the scales of a majestic dragon, symbolizing wealth and nobility. With its curved waterslide feature adorned with colorful light rings offering a vibrant and mesmerizing display, the design captured not only the golden dragon’s grandeur but also the fun and innovative entertainment options available at the popular Studio City Water Park.
