Centre for Aviation (CAPA), the world’s most trusted source of aviation market intelligence and a part of the Aviation Week Network, announces its calendar of aviation summits for 2024.
Featuring a global line-up of six events, the 2024 programme of aviation and travel events will touch six countries across five continents. Combining CAPA’s deep market knowledge with local and international expertise and engaging agendas, these are benchmark aviation events that are not to be missed in 2024.
With global aviation having turned a corner from the pandemic, the roster of 2024 CAPA summits will offer high-level content on the outlook for aviation. The events will offer deep strategic insights from industry decision makers, business information and outlooks from aviation executives, and high level thinking about global and regional trends from aviation experts.
The 2024 calendar of events includes a range of new features designed to engage, educate and enthral audiences, including:
  • Dedicated air finance and leasing sessions or breakout streams focused on the air finance and leasing markets, designed to broaden the scope of content available to attendees and delegates.
  • CAPA Corner – a sideline deep dive into the discussions in our presentations and panels, highlighting what the trends and insights discussed at this summit mean to you and your business.
  • CAPA Unconference Sessions: designed to let participants and audience members suggest and lead discussions on topics they are passionate about, encouraging dynamic and spontaneous exchanges.
Alongside this are CAPA’s Sustainability Awards for Excellence and World Aviation Awards.

The event is the lead in CAPA’s series of global summits for 2024, which encompasses events to be held across the Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe. The agenda offers comprehensive coverage of the air travel industry and the vital issues that are shaping the sector at the regional level and beyond.
The 2024 edition of the CAPA Airline Leader Summit – Airlines in Transition is set to explore the ever-changing business models of airlines around the world, with deep dives into best practices for a sustainable future.
With rapidly shifting passenger preferences, the ongoing rise of global awareness around environmental sustainability and instability in global economies and financial markets, the airline business models are rapidly pivoting to adapt to ever changing circumstances. The CAPA Airline Leader Summit-Asia & Sustainability Awards 2024 is a unique, two-day event merging CAPA’s industry-leading regional aviation summits with an agenda covering the important topic of aviation sustainability.
The event will review the key forces shaping aviation’s drive to a low carbon future, as well as the most important trends for regional aviation in Asia.
Held in Hong Kong over 6-7 November 2024, on the sidelines of the Super Terminal Expo, it will showcase the latest products and services that are changing the nature of multi-modal cargo and passenger terminal operations.
The event also includes CAPA’s globally-recognized Sustainability Awards for 2024. Featuring a gala-dinner event, the awards acknowledge leading contributions in the sector towards sustainability performance and innovation.
CAPA Airline Leader Summit – World & Awards for Excellence 2024
The crowning event of CAPA’s 2024 summit series – the CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards for Excellence – will combine analysis of key trends from 2024 with thought leadership from dozens of speakers about the future of the aviation sector for 2025 and beyond.
The event also includes CAPA’s Awards for Excellence. Hosted at a gala dinner, the awards recognise those leaders and innovators who have made the greatest contribution to the air travel sector in 2024.
It will be held in Belgrade (Serbia), across 21-22 Nov 2024.
