By integrating this ethos with Travelcoup’s semi-private air travel, the partnership is poised to transcend traditional travel norms. Travelcoup’s VIP scheduled flights, which marry the luxury of private jet travel with the affordability of business class, are at the heart of this innovative venture. Starting July 2023, Travelcoup will offer five weekly flights from Munich and Zurich to popular destinations like Mallorca and Ibiza using their custom-configured Embraer ERJ 145 jets. This service is designed to expand, with plans to extend the fleet and include more Mediterranean destinations and departure points across Germany and Switzerland by the end of 2024.

Rosen envisages this partnership as a catalyst for transforming travel into a vibrant social experience, enabling passengers to forge connections before reaching their destinations.

Alex Urseanu, reflecting on the partnership’s essence, emphasized the community and spirit that the Gekko Group has cultivated over the years. “We’re not just transporting people from point A to B,” Urseanu stated, “we’re creating a journey where every moment is infused with the possibility of new connections and experiences.”

This groundbreaking partnership between Gekko Group and Travelcoup is more than a business alliance; it’s a visionary leap towards creating a new travel dimension. By blending the luxurious with the communal and the innovative with the exclusive, this collaboration is set to redefine the essence of travel. As the lines between journey and destination blur, travellers can look forward to an era where travel is not just about the place but the experience and the community it fosters.
