Spread the love

When the snow crunches under your feet and the winter sun peeks tentatively through the treetops, the clear air tickles your skin, and everyday life seems far away, winter is at its most wonderful. This is the feeling winter guests experience at ADLER Lodge RITTEN. Away from the hustle and bustle of slopes and ski areas, they enjoy the quiet season on hikes, ski tours, or in the forest sauna.

Welcome to Winter Wonderland – and your very own Chalet.

Snow covers ADLER Lodge RITTEN like a blanket, making it easy to forget the outside world. The 20 private retreats offer absolute peace and relaxation, each with a fireplace and private sauna. Perfect for a getaway with that special someone.

Tip: Many guests book one of the chalets for a special occasion, such as a honeymoon or babymoon, the last two-person vacation before the birth of a child.

Both the chalets and the main house with its outbuildings and suites are built from natural and sustainable materials and combine the style of South African lodges with the traditional architecture of South Tyrol. Inside, guests are greeted with natural luxury and an almost magical atmosphere, even more so in winter.

Winter, Wood, and Wellness

The view from the sauna overlooks the snow-covered forest. Between the tree trunks, you can see the jagged rocks of the Dolomites. The carousel of thoughts can’t help but stop at this sight. In addition to the forest spa with its various saunas, guests can look forward to a comprehensive spa menu with signature treatments developed specifically for the ADLER Lodge. Natural cosmetics from the hotel’s cosmetic line and ingredients such as local herbs round out the treatments.

The infinity pool overlooks the Dolomites in all their beauty. Unobstructed and framed by the sunset.

Tip: As part of the Super Spa Special, guests receive a voucher for spa treatments and can also look forward to guided hikes, sound baths, yoga classes, and, of course, the lodge’s all-inclusive package.

Winter Sun and Fireplace

Slope action and après ski? You’ll only find that at the Rittner Horn. The rest of the region is perfect for long winter hikes or cross-country ski tours through the snow-covered landscape. The ADLER Lodge RITTEN also offers hikes, walks, and snowshoe tours with trained guides. Cross-country skiers will enjoy the panoramic trails, and all guests gather for Klaus Fink’s weekly curling tournaments.

The evening ends with a glass of wine in front of your private fireplace or the large fireplace in the cozy lobby with panoramic windows, before a multi-course dinner is served in the restaurant one floor up.

Culinary Delights

Chef Hannes Pignater and his team create special culinary experiences every night. Ingredients are sourced from the region and local partners. During the warmer seasons, vegetables, herbs, and fruits are grown in the Lodge’s garden. Farm-to-table is actively practiced.

Tip: Vegetarian and vegan menu options are always available for the multi-course dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

South Tyrol’s Winter Magic

Whether for a long weekend or a full week, ADLER Lodge RITTEN offers space to relax and recharge. It also demonstrates that luxury and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary, they complement each other beautifully and create their natural magic, further enhanced by the winter sun.
