Combining rustic charm with modern sophistication, The Distillery Restaurant comprises a full-service 80-seat venue that seamlessly blends the rich tale of Beenleigh Rum with a contemporary dining experience. Located within the distillery premises, the restaurant dishes up elevated pub-style cuisine that showcases local produce and quintessential Australian flavours.
Think mouth-watering snacks and share plates such as Spicy Corn Ribs and Sticky Pork Belly Bites slathered with rum sauce. As for mains, hero plates include the Porterhouse Steak with creamy potato puree and lashings of café de Paris butter, Signature Beef Ribs smothered in sticky barbeque and rum sauce and the Beenleigh Burger with your choice of Beef, Brisket or Veggie Patty; it’s comfort food but with a Beenleigh Rum twist.
Guests are also able to enjoy a mix of seasonal and rum-based cocktails, Beenleigh-infused desserts, premium rum tastings, masterclasses and interactive distillery tours that are perfect for novices and enthusiasts alike. Immersed in over 135 years of tall stories, colourful characters and heritage as rich and distinctive as Beenleigh Rum itself, the boutique distillery still operates from the original stone building and uses the same copper pot still since it was founded in 1884. The Distillery Restaurant is located in the new Visitor Centre and Artisan Rum Bar, showcasing the sophistication of an inner-city bar experience.
A feast for the senses, Beenleigh Artisan Distillery and Distillery Restaurant is located on the banks of the Albert River at 142 Distillery Road, Eagleby QLD 4207. Opening Hours: serving lunch Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 3pm, and dinner Friday from 5pm – 9pm.
