Bangkok’s night sky is set to transform into a canvas of light and sound as ICONSIAM joins forces with the Thailand Winter Festival to present “The Vijit Chao Phraya”, a month-long riverside spectacle in December 2023. This collaboration marks a monumental milestone for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), as it blends public and private sectors to spotlight the city’s breathtaking natural allure.

ICONSIAM, an emblematic destination on the Chao Phraya riverside, emerges as a key player in this vibrant tableau. Supoj Chaiwatsirikul, the dynamic Managing Director of ICONSIAM Company Limited, affirms their commitment to this grand event. “Our ambition is to illuminate the river with an array of spectacular events, inviting everyone to bask in the joyous spirit of the holidays at ICONSIAM,” Chaiwatsirikul stated confidently.

Promising an unparalleled experience, ICONSIAM will host awe-inspiring light-and-sound shows four times daily throughout December. These shows, scheduled at 6:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m., and a final show at 9:30 p.m., are poised to dazzle audiences with their creativity and splendour.

The multimedia water fountain dance is a highlight of the festival, celebrated as Southeast Asia’s longest. This innovative spectacle is a symphony of light, sound, and technology, creating a magnetic attraction along the river’s edge.

The “Vijit Chao Phraya 2023” within the Thailand Winter Festival aims to elevate the Chao Phraya River’s profile on the global stage. The program incorporates state-of-the-art projection mapping, advanced lighting techniques, and a seamless blend of culture and technology. It promises a feast for the senses with light decorations, building projections, fireworks, and culturally rich performances. These elements will span the Chao Phraya River from Krung Thon Bridge to Rama 3 Bridge, ensuring visitors a novel and immersive experience.
