On December 17 at Palazzo Cardinal Cesi, that is the historic headquarters of the General House of the Salvatorians on Via della Conciliazione, bigwigs in Culture and Social Activities will be awarded the BOOKS for PEACE 2023 International Prize. This year’s edition is dedicated to LIFE, Motherhood, the fight against Child Bride and against Infibulation. This edition is dedicated to the United Nations Agency UNFPA Albania. BOOKS for PEACE award is now an established international reality, present in 5 continents and in 61 countries, the 2023 edition has received the Sponsorship of UNFPA Albania, FICLU (Federation of UNESCO Associations Italy) and three UNESCO clubs: Brazil, Tangier and Mauritania.
“I am very happy with the development and success that BOOKS for PEACE Award is having around the world. This year we an extra reason to be proud. We awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize to Congolese Doctor Denis Mukwegw, the Vice-President of the European Parliament Hon. Pina Picierno, we co-organized a Charity Concert edition of the “Noi” Tour by Katia Ricciarelli, Francesco Drosi, Francesco Zingariello for BOOKS for PEACE & FISPES Lazio (Italian Federation of Paralympic and Experimental Sports) at the San Babila Theater. We will close the 2023 activities on a high note in December with a great gift that we will ideally put under the Christmas tree,” says Prize International President Antonio Imeneo.
