Festive goers can indulge in a culinary experience like no other, and are invited to ring in the new year at Peppina, The Tasman, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart’ signature restaurant. An enticing four-course set menu created by Peppina’s Culinary Director Massimo Mele, promises to take guests on a gourmet adventure.
With a glass of Tasmanian sparkling wine on arrival, guests at Peppina can indulge in a tantalising array of starters, with menu highlights including the warm eggplant with ricotta, mozzarella, basil and cannelloni and duck arancini with a plum sauce. In traditional Tassie style, Oysters are always on the menu
As the night unfolds, guests will be treated to the mouth-watering main course flavours of crab ravioli with prawns, saffron and butter sauce and perfectly grilled lamb loin with burnt onion cream and pickled collard greens.
No celebration is complete without a sweet ending – to finish, a limoncello scroppino cleanser is on offer, or opt for the delightful chocolate parfait with salted caramel and honeycomb brittle that leave taste buds dancing with joy.
Guests are then invited to make their way to the outdoor terrace when the clock turns to midnight – for a breathtaking display of fireworks over the Salamanca waterfront to create a mesmerising backdrop of celebrations for the fantastic year ahead.
