An idea that’s been brewing, distilling and fermenting in the background for some time, The Finer Drop Festival is a summer picnic style event that brings together a range of the best premium beverage and gourmet food producers at the world class WINX Stand, Royal Randwick Sydney.
Picture an amazing curation where fashion & fun meets flavour & taste on the beautiful Royal Randwick lawns on the 18th & 19th November.
This perfect summer venue will host an incredible day out for today’s discerning drinker, where you can explore some of the best wines, bubbles, cocktails, spirits and craft beers available in Australia, win amazing prizes from Porsche and Sydney Seaplanes and enjoy fantastic live music and lawn games with friends.
Discover wines from the 2024 Halliday Winery of the Year, Bleasdale, along with many of the Hunter Valley’s premium wineries, including Bimbadgen, Glandore, Lisa McGuigan, Peterson House, Savannah Estate, Petersons, Tulloch and Winmark wineries.
Try a brew from Australia Indies Champion Beer of 2023 winners, Dollar Bill Brewing, GABS Hottest 100 winners, Mountain Culture, trendsetters One Drop Brewing Co and Mate Maker, Australia’s oldest independent, family-owned brewing institution Coopers Brewery or International guests Seven Seals (Greece) and Garage Project (New Zealand).
A wide range of delicious cocktails, gins, whiskys, rums, vodkas, tequilas and mixers will be on offer from Archie Rose, Banks & Solander, Billsons, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, Ester Spirits, Fever Tree, Heathcote Gin, Karu, Kraken Spiced Rum, Makers Mark, Manly Spirits, Mexink, Morris Whisky, Pants Off, Sodasmith, The West Winds and Vivir Tequila.
The fine drops are going to be complemented by an exclusive dining experience, with dishes curated by the incredible Three Blue Ducks. Guests can also browse through a bespoke art gallery with an exclusive selection from some of the Hunter Valley’s most talented artists, as well as being able to select perfect festive season gifts from the Feather Sisters beauty range from Melinda Willis, the exclusive fashion label BSSA and more in the market zone.
There will be entertainment throughout, with fantastic tunes from Hot Potato Band, who will have just returned from a tour in New Zealand. Guests can indulge their artistic talents with painting classes by celebrated artist Julianne Ross Alcorn, as they enjoy a range of wines in the Winmark Paint and Sip Sessions or join in the many masterclasses presented by Archie Rose, Makers Mark and others. Try your best moves in our three-channel silent disco or beat your mates at croquet, bocce and cornhole!
