JAL offers seamless travel solutions through JAL MaaS, aimed at solving local transportation issues and contributing to the growth of people exploring Japan. In pursuit of greater user experience, continuous efforts have been made in collaboration with various transportation services to expand stress-free travel experiences.
JAL is pleased to announce the new collaboration with Sky Hop Bus – a double-decker open-top bus service for sightseeing spots in Tokyo and Kyoto. Through this collaboration, users will have the convenience of purchasing digital tickets for Sky Hop Bus in advance using JAL’s route search service, JAL MaaS. Users will simply need to scan the 2D barcode of their pre-purchased digital ticket at boarding.
The Hop-on Hop-off bus service offers a wide range of routes, allowing passengers to explore numerous landmarks and customize their sightseeing experience at their own pace.
To cater to the needs of visitors to Japan, JAL has also launched English version of the JAL MaaS website, ensuring web accessibility. In the upcoming phase, plans are underway to introduce multilanguage support, including Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) and Korean. Concurrently, efforts are being made to enrich MaaS-related services, such as the Same-day Baggage Delivery Service, to create a stress-free travel experience. JAL will continue striving to foster new streams of visitors to experience the wonders of Japan.
