The Hunter Valley’s newest premium accommodation destination, The Lane Retreat, Bimbadgen, set among 15 hectares of secluded vineyard and natural bushlands in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, is set to open for the first time in mid-October.

To celebrate its opening, The Lane Retreat is offering one night’s accommodation in a premium studio retreat*, breakfast for two and a bottle of Bimbadgen sparkling wine from $309 per night midweek and $443 per night on Friday/Saturday nights, valid for stays from October 15 – December 24, 2023. Developed by property and hospitality group Mulpha Australia in the grounds of Bimbadgen’s 50-year-old vineyards, The Lane Retreat has been designed to provide a unique accommodation offering to complement the brand’s Palmer’s Lane wedding and events venue and the winery and restaurants at Bimbadgen’s home vineyard on McDonald Road. Guests can also access the Mulpha-owned Emma’s Cottage Vineyard boutique winery nearby.

The Lane Retreat offers 60 premium studio retreats with outdoor decks providing panoramic views of the Broken Back Range or Bimbadgen vineyards. Cocooned in comfort, guests will enjoy a rare combination of privacy, curated experiences and connection to wine country.

Each studio retreat has king bedding, a bathroom with double rainhead showers and Hunter bathroom amenities, a kitchenette with coffee maker, toaster, microwave and mini bar, and gourmet breakfast provisions supplied daily.

The property already boasts three stunning gathering sites for ceremonies and celebrations. Still, it now has access to a new luxury swimming pool and amenities, along with a bespoke store and pantry offering espresso coffee, gourmet cheese and grazing food options, wines, spirits, and other gourmet goodies along with bespoke gifts.

Guests will enjoy VIP access to Bimbadgen’s flagship restaurant Esca, its Woodfired Pizzeria and Cellar Door, and the nearby Emma’s Cottage Vineyard boutique winery.

Mulpha’s General Manager of Hospitality, Belinda Stapleton, said:

“The Lane Retreat has been designed to offer all the comfort and amenities guests can expect while ensuring the Hunter wine country and the natural environment remain the stars of the show.
