Get ready for a weekend of pure family fun at the 30th Annual Oakhurst Fall Festival, proudly presented by the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce. This Small-Town Fair is back from Friday, October 6th to Sunday, October 8th with an exciting entertainment lineup, incredible vendors, carnival rides, delicious food, and more.
The Oakhurst Fall Festival stands as the crowning event in Eastern Madera County, attracting attendees from the heart of Oakhurst and its neighboring communities of Coarsegold, Madera, and Fresno, and even visitors from the farthest corners of California. On Friday, October 6th, the picturesque Oakhurst Community Park will be transformed into a hub of excitement, live music, and specialty vendor booths showcasing everything from unique collectibles and handmade items to the local Beer and Wine Pavilion.
The 2023 Oakhurst Fall Festival hours are as follows:
- Friday, October 6th: 3 PM – 9 PM
- Saturday, October 7th: 10 AM – 9 PM, Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion: 12 PM – 5 PM
- Sunday, October 8th: 9 AM – 4 PM, Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion: 10 AM – 2 PM
Admission is just $5 per person, granting access to the festival for all three days. Children aged 5 and under get in FREE. Tickets are available for purchase at the festival admission booth. For those interested in the Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion, tickets and souvenir tasting glasses are sold at the tasting pavilion inside the festival.
“The Oakhurst Chamber Board of Directors is very excited for the 30th year of the Oakhurst Fall Festival!” expressed Jessica Trettin, Fall Festival Co-Committee Chair, “We have everything people love about the festival coming back this year, plus several new additions that we just can’t wait for including a mimosa bar and additional wine tasting added to Sunday! And did someone say petting zoo?! We really wanted the community to feel proud and excited for their annual fall event and hope to see you all there October 6th, 7th and 8th!”
Tap your feet to live music starting at 3 PM on Friday with Jim Savarino, followed by Whiskey Creek at 6 PM, and marvel at the Roaming Circus Acts also at 6 PM. Then, prepare to embark on a galactic adventure at 7 PM as the FORCES of Star Wars descend upon the festival with the return of the Jedi Academy. Jedi and villains will be in attendance and Light Sabers can be purchased one hour before the Jedi Academy training begins. For the young ones, there will be balloon animals, face painting, and carnival rides. Tickets for the rides are available for purchase separately from the festival admission.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Live music continues on Saturday at 10 AM with Terry Robinson, the dynamic duo Chris & Larry at 1 PM, and the much-anticipated return of What Comes Next at 5 PM. The local Golden Chain Theatre will have a special performance with the Junior Players at 4 PM while the Roaming Circus Acts perform a second time, and Saturday evening wraps up with an exciting Fire Dancer Show at 8:15 PM. To close out the Oakhurst Fall Festival on Sunday, October 8th, the Traditional Irish band, The Pure Drop, will play at 10 AM, followed by the Yosemite Jazz Band at 12 PM.

Throughout the weekend, explore a variety of vendors offering everything from homemade treats to clothing and merchandise for sale. Indulge your tastebuds with quintessential fair food like lemonade and funnel cakes as well as burgers, BBQ, and more. At the Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilion, sample hand-crafted brews from Oakhurst’s South Gate Brewing Company, sip wines from local wineries along the Madera Wine Trail and beyond, and enjoy a special hard cider treat from Mariposa’s very own Sierra Cider!
