The Gympie Music Muster 2023 concluded on a high note with the presentation of a Newgen Caravan to lucky winner, Laura McKeown.
The lucky caravan winner was in shock when she got the call to say she had won.
“I’ve been to two Musters and plan to go to many more in the future and the highlight was definitely winning the caravan,” Ms McKeown said.
“I got a phone call as I was at a different stage, and if you know me, I never answer my phone, and I did this time, and I thought it was a scam call!
“We didn’t even know that when you bought a four-day ticket, you were automatically entered into the draw. When I had figured out it was serious, myself and my partner sprinted to the stage where they were waiting, and I was sweating and in shock! It was crazy! But I am so, so thankful!”
While not describing her and her partner, Marty Twyford, as “seasoned caravaners”, Ms McKeown said they did enjoy camping and travelled to Cape York this year and now, with their new caravan, worth $70,000, they’ll be doing many more trips.
Newgen marketing manager Jason Potter said presenting the caravan to the lucky winner was a unique experience.
“It was rewarding to make someone’s day and truly captured what Newgen stands for,” he said.
“The Muster’s demographic aligns well with our target audience, offering a unique platform to reach seasoned caravan enthusiasts and newcomers alike.”
Mr Potter said the Muster allowed Newgen to connect with their audience.
“The enthusiasm and interest we received was amazing,” he said.
“The rodeo was particularly memorable, considering our sponsorship. The talent and community spirit were outstanding and the new VIP Ariat Verandah Bar was a nice touch.”
The Gympie Music Muster and Newgen look forward to a promising future of collaboration.
“The synergy between the Muster and Newgen is strong, and we’re open to discussing new avenues or more favourable terms for mutual benefit,” Mr Potter said
The Gympie Music Muster and Newgen are excited about the possibilities that their partnership holds for the future, promising more exciting experiences for festival-goers and caravan enthusiasts.
