Over time, IR will continue to add products and destinations to the platform. Products that are not able be booked online will be fulfilled by IR’s support team, including premium rail products and trains in USA/Canada, Australia, NZ and Asia.
Revenue isn’t the only aspect increasing in the company, the dedicated support team has expanded from six to 20 in the last 18 months. This has allowed a premium local service to be developed via phone, email and live chat.
Hume says that the live chat service has been a “game changer” and is operated by the local Australian based team, giving agents the access to speak in real time to an actual person.
