Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York joins forces with the acclaimed LA-based headwear designer Nick Fouquet for the launch of an exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection. Fouquet has frequently been asked about his affiliation with the hotel brand, and despite sharing a name, this collaboration marks their first-ever partnership – which was a natural fit. The collection, featuring an enticing selection of chic baseball caps, unisex t-shirts, and Fouquet’s signature artisan felt hats, combines the unique, West-Coast flair of Nick Fouquet with the timeless elegance of Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York.

The capsule line offers a subtle, yet contemporary range of products. The collection includes felt hats sporting a co-branded logo discreetly featured on the liner, bespoke baseball caps, and t-shirts which showcase elements inspired by the hotel’s standout cocktail experience at Brasserie Fouquet’s. The design elements, featuring a blend of yellow and red stripes, reflect the inviting atmosphere of the hotel’s lobby and restaurants, and pay homage to the brand’s identity. The unisex designs, thanks to Nick Fouquet’s meticulous craftsmanship, ensure that each piece suits everyone’s everyday style, similarly embodying the essence of Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York.

“This collaboration with Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York is a thrilling one for me,” said designer Nick Fouquet. “Our capsule collection fuses LA cool with the sophistication of Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York – a meeting of a cosmopolitan jet-setter and a laid-back beachcomber. It’s also super fitting that we happen to share a name; I have a fondness for Fouquet’s Brasserie and people frequently wonder whether there is any connection to the brand. Now I can say there is.” 

To celebrate the launch of this limited-edition collection, Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York will host a one-day trunk show for friends of the hotel. The event will celebrate the union of these two brands, featuring a customizable hat bar where attendees can have their hats tailored to perfection. To kick off the festivities, Nick Fouquet will host an intimate cocktail soiree in celebration of the capsule collection’s exciting preview on September 14th, 2023, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

The trunk show will open on September 15th, 2023, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, those in attendance can make appointments to shop the exclusive collection at Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York. The collection will also be available for purchase online at nickfouquet.com  on September 15th following the trunk show.
