Pullman Singapore Hill Street, an upscale, design-led property in the heart of Singapore’s arts and cultural district, appoints Mazen Abilmona as General Manager. The 350-key property under Accor opens on 1 October 2023. The highly anticipated hotel is primed as the ultimate playground for today’s travelers with a design journey that pays tribute to Pullman’s iconic past of luxury railroad travel.

1/ 25-YEAR CAREER IN CHANGING UP THE WAY HOTELS RUN F&B
Mazen has built his 25-year career with properties across the Middle East, China, and Singapore; having spent the bulk of his earlier journey within food and beverage. Armed with a business degree specialising in hospitality management, he began his career with Fairmont Dubai as an F&B Service Supervisor and quickly stood out with his passion for food and knack for connecting with guests which propelled him into F&B Director within the same hotel.

Regarded for his track record in steering both new and existing dining concepts to success, Mazen has been involved in several pre-opening task forces over the years and has spearheaded rebranding projects in properties that include Fairmont Singapore, Fairmont Peace Hotel, Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort, and Fairmont Riyadh, just to list a few.

Thrilled by the infinite possibilities that can be explored with the Pullman brand, Mazen joined Pullman Singapore Hill Street in October 2022 as General Manager – marking the next milestone in his robust career. With a wealth of knowledge in running F&B and overall functions of hotels, he has set sights on establishing the new property into a place abundant with discoveries for both travelers and local visitors.
Mazen plays an integral role behind all aspects of concept building. Hitting the ground in full speed, his involvement so far includes ensuring that the developments of F&B concepts and rooms stay true to vision, recruiting the right talents to fill positions, and ideating programmes and initiating partnerships that will set the property apart from the conventional luxury hotels.
