Visitnorway.com has been optimized for all our travel enthusiasts. Here you will find interesting articles on people and unique places to stay, destinations, food, attractions, adventures and much more, and we will also provide our visitors with plenty of travel ideas and practical planning tools.
“We’ve worked really hard to optimize the website both visually, in terms of content and technically, so that our users can have a better experience and be even more encouraged to travel to and explore Norway. The destinations and travel products will appear even more attractive and bookable than before,” says Christine Baglo, the editor-in-chief for Visitnorway.com.
Visitnorway.com’s goal is to be much more than an ‘ordinary’ travel guide. One of the key ideas behind the redesign is for Visitnorway.com to also feel a bit more like a travel magazine, with compelling feature articles that delve deeper into interesting people, phenomena, places, unique Norwegian traditions, and the Norwegian cuisine.
The content on Visitnorway.com is also optimized for mobile users, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling and scroll-friendly format.
“Pictures speak louder than words. Through our highly immersive, scroll-friendly articles and video content, we see that we’re able to keep the readers on the website for a longer time. With the new design, we also hope to entice the reader to delve deeper and explore more pages. When the route planner becomes available, users will also have a national and highly practical planning tool,”says Baglo.
The new Visitnorway.com is available in 9 languages.
