The Galt House Hotel is pleased to announce the return of Westley Harris as General Manager of Swizzle Dinner & Drinks, the hotel’s signature restaurant and supper club. Harris returns to his position after two years pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, drawn back to the restaurant’s unparalleled level of customer service and commitment to guest experience.
A true Louisville native – Harris honors the classic and nostalgic sense of hospitality evoked by tried and true Southern dining. Drawing from years of restaurant experience, Harris is a true people person with a vivacious and convivial spirit – making guests feel welcomed the moment they step foot into the restaurant.
Honed over a career spanning more than a decade, Harris’ dedication to creating exceptional guest experiences and epicurean excellence has
earned him numerous accolades in spirits and mixology. Harris began his career journey within the hospitality industry at the age of sixteen as a busboy at classic Louisville establishment Rocky’s on the River. Since then, Harris has held a number of positions and leadership roles across Louisville’s lively bar and restaurant scene. In 2019, Harris was an integral part of the opening of Swizzle Dinner and Drinks, assuming the role of General Manager, with his leadership and commitment shaping the foundation of the restaurant.
