Scenic has released their 2024/2025 Captivating Wonders of Africa brochure featuring seven luxury journeys spanning Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa including one of the most fascinating rail journeys of the world, the Blue Train.

Liz Crowley, Scenic Journey Designer for Africa said: “Africa is amazing on so many levels – people often think firstly of the animals, which are incredible to see walking freely. But it’s also the different cultures, the ancient and modern history, and the warmth of the African people that you meet along the way is for me what stays with you when you come home”.

Over 27 days, Scenic guests will enjoy the Ultimate African Expedition, with the sheer grandeur of African icons unfolding before guests as they delve into the wonders of Southern and East Africa.

This 2024 itinerary will allow guests to see the majestic Table Mountain, experience the power of Victoria Falls, and be immersed in the greatness of renowned national parks like Kruger, Chobe, Masai Mara, and Amboseli. Additionally, Scenic guests will be able to venture into tribal villages where they will encounter the people and learn about the cultures that have shaped the region’s rich history. The 27-day journey starts from $26,595 per person including the Earlybird saving of $1,000 per person*.

New to 2024, Scenic guests taking the Grand African Safari will have the opportunity in Nairobi to visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. This centre has played a key role in Kenya’s conservation efforts with guests able to interact with baby elephants, enjoy a mud bath, and feed time.

As well guests will now enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Museum famous from the movie “Out of Africa”. In addition, guests on afternoon game drives in search of Africa’s infamous Big 5, will get to partake in the most enjoyable of safari traditions – Sundowners drinks, where drink in hand guests can relax and share stories with fellow travellers.
