Sail Croatia have announced a new seven-day learn to sail holiday where guests can enjoy exploring the Croatian coastline on a 45 foot yacht, whilst learning the basics from an expert skipper instructor.
The course will get participants confidently hoisting the sails, pulling ropes and dropping anchor in the stunning coves off Croatia’s coast, ensuring they come away with practical experience, theoretical knowledge, a greater respect for the marine environment, as well as lots of fantastic memories.
Launched in partnership with Green Sail, the course also aims to educate and advise participants on how to sail sustainably and with awareness and respect for the surrounding marine environment and coastal communities. Green Sail will receive 100% of the profits from the course supporting their sustainable tourism activities in the region.
What’s more, guests will be learning on modern, well equipped 40 foot sailing vessels which sleep 8 people in four cabins with 2 bathrooms.
No previous sailing experience is required as the course will be tailored to suit guests’ level of experience.
The first Learn to Sail holiday departs on 7th October 2023 from the waterfront city of Split and costs €1059 per person based on two sharing, including a welcome dinner, daily breakfast, plus professional skipper instruction.
