Returning bigger than ever for its 10th-year anniversary, Bastille Festival is just around the corner! Get ready to immerse yourself in the rich and vibrant culture of France as the Bastille French Festival returns to Sydney, bringing an unforgettable celebration of all things French. From mouthwatering food to wine tastings, masterclasses, and cool activities, this year’s festival promises an exhilarating experience for all. Here’s a glimpse of what awaits you.
A new addition to the festival footprint, the trendy Quay Quarter Lanes, situated between Loftus and Young Street, will be transformed into an artist lane. Meet the artists, discover artisan creations, from pottery to knitting and caricaturists, and be transported to the streets of Paris.
Bouillon L’Entrecote is bringing an exciting pop-up Bistro terrace inspired by Parisian Steak Frites with its Parisian salad and the famous all-you-can-eat fries. With French waiters and authentic French food, do what Parisians enjoy doing the most: eating and people watching!
At night, Loftus Lane will be transformed into a free silent disco party, where every night you can walk in, grab a headset, and dance, chill, and have fun the French way in partnership with Silent Sounds.
Customs House Village
Where It all started 10 years ago, we will transform the square into a Parisian Cafe Terrace by L’Or.
To celebrate our 10 years anniversary, the square will be transformed into a Parisian coffee experience with its Parisian stage.
Each morning, L’Or will offer 100 free croissants and coffees to start the day the French way, and French waiters will be roaming the square, offering visitors a coffee!
How about taking your next coffee in Paris? Each cup of coffee will give you a chance to enter the draw to win a trip to Paris and a complimentary breakfast in the city of love.
During the day and at night, the Parisian stage will bring live music, magicians, and performers to the stage.
East Circular Quay Village
Pop-up Champagne bar with oysters, prawns, lobster & the French Jazz club.
Experience pure luxury and indulge your senses when visiting the pop-up Champagne, Oyster & Fresh Prawn Bar located at East Circular Quay Village. With stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, enjoy French champagne, delectable oysters, fresh prawns, and a vibrant Jazz Club Stage. Treat yourself with la creme de la creme!
Freshly shucked oysters with champagne sauce, succulent Australian prawns, French Champagne, and you are up for a match made in heaven. Get ready to savour the flavours of the Sea:

The Jazz Club. To enhance your evening, we are creating a unique atmosphere with our Jazz Club Stage. Let the rhythmic beats of our talented musicians bring the stage to life. Lose yourself in the magic of live jazz, creating the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable night out.
First Fleet Park
The Rocks: Main stage with opening night cabaret show, Saturday night French DJ Party and lots of concerts.
With over 100 performances in just 4 days, the festival promises to be vibrant! To celebrate the French joie de vivre, bands, dancers, and performers will join the celebration. On Thursday night, a free French cabaret show from “Les Femmes Diamant” will open the festival. Then, expect dance classes, DJ parties, and much more to keep you on your feet. The village is also showcasing the best of food and wine.

– Friday night “14 Juillet” French Dj Party from – 7pm
– Saturday 15th : Swing dance classes at lunch time, 343 brass band at – 5pm

Tallawoladah Lawn & MCA
Wine Masterclasses, cocktail bar & terrace with a view.
Looking for a place to eat and chill with a view? The Lawn in front of the MCA will be transformed into an extraordinary wine area, with lots of barrels, tables, and chairs. Grab a cocktail and enjoy all the beautiful food on offer with stunning views of the Opera House in the background.
Inside the MCA, the festival will host one-hour ticketed masterclasses dedicated to learning more about French wines and the wine regions. From Bordeaux to Provence, Burgundy, and more, if you are a wine lover, book your spot, meet the experts, and learn about amazing French wines. Tickets are priced at $40 per person. Booking is essential.
Cadmans Cottage
The Rocks: Le Mulled Wine Cinema – French-inspired movies.
Immerse yourself in the cinematic heritage of France as you settle into our outdoor cinema nestled amidst a picturesque setting. Whether you are a passionate cinephile or simply seeking a delightful evening out, Le Mulled Wine Cinema offers a one-of-a-kind ambiance that transports you to the heart of French cinema.
Mulled wine, a blanket, and this year, Raclette will be on offer at the cinema – overall, it’s the best combination to stay warm this winter.
Overseas Passenger Terminal
The melted cheese Raclette igloo experience.
After taking Melbourne and Canberra by storm, the Raclette igloo experience is finally coming to Sydney, and not just anywhere, as the French dining experience will be happening on level 4 of the Overseas Passenger Terminal with astonishing views of the Opera House.
On the menu of this experience, there will be an igloo for up to 8 people, and an intimate private dining experience where you can eat your cheese the French way, with 1.8kg of Raclette cheese, mulled wine on arrival, delicious cured meats, pickles, and a French waiter to look after you and your friends. For dessert, a thick hot chocolate with roasted marshmallows will be served. Booking is essential, and it is priced at $99 per person.
