Dubai-based airline Emirates concluded its participation in the 30th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) with a highly successful showing. The airline welcomed over 16,000 visitors to its stand, held more than 300 meetings, and forged partnerships with tourism organizations worldwide.
Visitors experienced Emirates’ highly sought-after products, which included its popular Premium Economy Class, fully enclosed First Class private suites, Boeing 777 Business Class seats, the newest generation A380 OnBoard lounge, the First Class Shower Spa, and the latest version of its A380 Economy Class seats. The airline’s sustainability initiatives, including the AI Gallery, produced 800 personalized pieces of inspirational travel artwork were highlighted.
Emirates also signed agreements with eight tourism boards, including the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, the Moroccan National Tourism Office, the Tourism Authority of Zimbabwe, Tourism Seychelles, the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, and Zambia Tourism. These partnerships aim to boost tourist arrivals and increase demand for air travel.
The airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Etihad Airways to provide travellers with additional itinerary options when visiting the UAE, which aims to boost tourism from key source markets.
Emirates President, Sir Tim Clark, was a keynote speaker at the event’s conference speaker series. He discussed the airline’s long-term strategy, business growth, future network and fleet plans, sustainability efforts, and broader industry challenges.
Emirates received several awards during ATM, including “Best Airline Worldwide” for the 10th year at the Business Traveller Middle East awards. Emirates also won “Best Premium Economy Class” and “Best First Class”, and the Emirates First Class Lounge was named “Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East”.
The Arabian Travel Market 2023, the region’s most significant annual travel and trade exhibition, welcomed over 35,000 attendees from 150 countries.
Overall, Emirates’ successful participation in ATM 2023 demonstrates its commitment to strong partnerships, sustainability, and providing top-notch experiences for its customers.
