Matthew Boutwell, a Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) expert and seasoned cruise line veteran has joined Crystal as Senior Director to the Global MICE Markets. Based in London, England, he will oversee all operations and sales for both Incentive Groups and Charters globally. As Crystal prepares for their relaunch into the market, both ships are currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment which will see their capacities reduced from almost 1,000 guest berths to 606 – 740 berths with redesigned, spacious suites and public spaces.
Boutwell will report to the President of Crystal and work alongside the Vice Presidents of Sales in the Americas, EU, EMEA, and APAC regions. With nearly 15 years of combined MICE and travel experience, Boutwell recently joined from the aviation industry where he oversaw aircraft charters for Global MICE and Direct Corporations on their meetings and incentive travel needs during the COVID Pandemic.
