Announcing Hillary’s Beach Club, a new two story venue offering a restaurant, gastro pub and function space with uninterrupted views over the ocean – estimated completion of December 2023.
Hillary’s Beach Club is a project by Ryan & Nikki Esqulant – operators of the popular gastro pub, The Iluka situated on Perth’s northern coastline. Working closely with Tim & Claire Leech from White Salt and the team at Sandgate to provide a complete beach front venue for the people of Perth.
Currently under construction, this venue will have multiple spaces including a kiosk for grab n go style food along with a sit down restaurant, large function space and a traditional gastro pub. The building is a brand-new build, currently under construction, with an approximate 1400 square metre venue (800 sq2 on lower level and 635sq2 on the upper level) and will be licensed for 500 people. The interior design on the lower level will have elements of a beach club with plenty of pastels, creams, golds whilst the upstairs will feature more in depth textures, deeper colours and more sophistication for night or day. A wind shielding terrace will allow guests to wine and dine all year round whilst enjoying the views over the beach and surrounding natural bushland.
“We are very excited to bring the long-awaited Hillarys Beach Club to the community with an incredible beach feel and some of the best sunset views along the coast. This venue is very much a part of the local community with a range of spaces within the venue to suit a variety of demographics,” says owner Ryan Esqulant. “We are right on the coast so want to be accessible for breakfast, lunch and dinner crowd along with those wanting to enjoy a few drinks straight off the beach. With a venue this size and location in the heart of Hillarys, it is imperative that we deliver something for everyone. It is a big ask but we believe we have the right location and a strong team to make it happen”.
The kitchen will be headed up by Samson Brent who’s passion is in simple and locally sourced produce executed to the highest standard. He previously has worked in Gordon Ramsey’s flagship restaurant in London and is currently heading up The Iluka till the Hillary’s Beach Club opens.
The venue will be open daily from breakfast right through to dinner with direct access from the beach. The team have also consulted with the community throughout the lead up to the construction with additional parking being made available at the location for patrons. Hillarys Beach Club will also be employing over 100 local staff to join the team from November onwards.
Hillarys Beach Club is due to open in December 2023 and is located at Pinnaroo Point, John Wilkie Tarn off Whitfords Avenue, Hillarys.
