The Singapore Tourism Board has recently launched SingapoRewards, a program that provides international visitors with an opportunity to experience Singapore’s hidden gems and unique perspectives for free. Eligible short-term visitors to Singapore can redeem a complimentary experience from a curated list of nearly 40 new or “off-the-beaten-path” activities. The program runs through 2023 and aims to showcase Singapore’s diverse offerings and innovative experiences.

SingapoRewards offers a platform for local businesses to test and launch new products and services. The program has been successfully piloted in Australia, India, and Indonesia from October 2022 to March 2023, and is now available to all international visitors.
The curated activities cater to various interests and itineraries, ranging from novelty and excitement to sustainability and wellness. Visitors can explore picturesque precincts through unique tours such as the Historical Singapore Bike Tour and the Bugis, Waterloo, and Kampong Gelam Instagram Walking Tour. They can also savour local culinary delights on board the Singapore River Dining Cruise or discover the origins of Singapore Dry Gin at the Brass Lion Distillery Tour. Sustainability-focused activities include the Pleated Bag Making Workshop, S.E.A. Aquarium + Behind The Panel Guided Tour, and the Jewel Connection: Changi Airport & Jewel Changi Walking Tour. Wellness activities include the Singapore Flora Heritage Room Diffuser Workshop and the Aqua Spinning Workout Class.

Keith Tan, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Tourism Board, encourages visitors to explore Singapore’s diverse offerings through SingapoRewards and share their positive experiences with others. He believes the program will enhance visitors’ experience of Singapore by introducing them to unique gems that are exclusive to the country.
Suen Tat Yam, the founder of Monster Day Tours, expressed excitement over the positive feedback they have received on their Jewel Connection tour since SingapoRewards was piloted in October 2022. Similarly, Jamie Koh, founder of Brass Lion Distillery, is eager to share their approach to gin-making and introduce visitors from all over the world to their uniquely Singaporean spirits.
Visitors are encouraged to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #SingapoRewards. Redemptions and bookings can be made on the VisitSingapore app or the SingapoRewards microsite. SingapoRewards offers a better way to holiday in Singapore by providing visitors with unique experiences and new perspectives of the city.
