Yesterday was also the Official Practice for the highly-anticipated Oakley Australian Open Downhill event that is coming up this Saturday. Set to be a super heated race, there is a massive range of heavy-hitting national and international riders in the mix, including but not limited to Sam Hill, Camille Balanche, Jackson Goldstone, Nina Hoffman, Laurie Greenland, Sian A’Hern, Josh Arcus, Tim Eaton, Jackson Frew and Benoit Coulanges.
Today, the Official DH Practice will continue as guests also enjoy non-stop entertainment throughout the village with live music and athlete signings. Tomorrow is the final day of the 2023 Cannonball MTB Festival with over 3000 spectators expected to turn out for a massive line-up of pro racing during the day and the Official Cannonball Closing Party featuring a live DJ set from North East Party House at night.
