Maximizing the Asia Pacific Market: New Zealand Showcases Its Business Events Appeal at the AIME Trade Show.
New Zealand is determined to leave its mark at the AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) trade show, with a delegation of 27 partners from Tourism New Zealand Business Events. The goal is to showcase New Zealand’s business events appeal to the Asia Pacific market and leave a lasting impression.
Nearly 60 members of New Zealand’s business events industry will be on the stand, making this the largest delegation ever to travel across the Tasman for AIME. Bjoern Spreitzer, General Manager of Tourism New Zealand, explains the country’s focus on extending an invitation to event organizers who seek a unique travel experience.
“More Than Just a Business Event Destination”
New Zealand offers world-class venues, aspirational activities, and innovative research and content, making it an ideal location for a successful business event. But, as Spreitzer explains, “New Zealand also rewards those who come looking for deeper, more meaningful connections.” With a growth phase underway, including the opening of three new convention centres in major cities, New Zealand is eager to showcase its new venues and attractions.
Unique Cultural Welcome for AIME Guests
Visitors to the stand will receive a special welcome, with the opportunity to create their own printed version of a pepeha, a traditional Māori structured introduction that connects people to place. Joining Tourism New Zealand’s Business Events team on the stand will be destinations such as Auckland Convention Bureau, ChristchurchNZ, Destination Queenstown, and RotoruaNZ, along with industry associations and providers.
Venue representatives from the New Zealand International Convention Center, Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, and more will also be in attendance. Accommodation and event providers, including Cordis Auckland, Scenic Hotel Group, and Fable Hotels & Resorts, will showcase their offerings.
“Experience Kiwi Hospitality”
Spreitzer invites everyone to come and experience the best of New Zealand hospitality, “Come and see us during our appointment streams or pop by to enjoy a coffee or some New Zealand wine and a chat.” New Zealand is eager to share what’s new and exciting in their country and is located on stand C9.
