Katarina LineThese include One-Way Wonders between Dubrovnik and Split, starting at $1,000 per person for the October 15th departure; Bike Split South, a round-trip cruise from Split, starting at $550 per person; and Southern Explorer, a round-trip cruise from Split, starting at $610 per person.

“There were some industry concerns at the start of the 2022 season about whether travel would return to normal, but they were soon minimized as European countries reduced or eliminated restrictions for international travel,” said Daniel Hauptfeld, Katarina Line’s marketing director.

All Katarina Line cruises offer a unique combination of small ship sailings that reveal the stunning beauty of Croatia’s Dalmatian islands and the picturesque coast, with inland guided tours to some of the country’s national parks and historical cities.

Adriatic Explorer’s October 12, 2022 departures start at $880 per person and include breakfast, lunch and a captain’s dinner, as well as fees for all activities on the itinerary. For example, Katarina Line’s 7-night Adriatic Explorer, a one-way cruise between Opatija and Dubrovnik, offers a diverse itinerary that includes swimming in secluded coves, a visit to Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s top natural wonders, and guided city tours. The company is also enjoying a continuing surge in advance bookings for the 2023 and 2024 seasons and beyond, with concerns about the pandemic “in the rear-view mirror” and travellers determined to make up for lost vacation time.

Katarina Line, Croatia’s premiere small ship cruise company and DMC, is reporting strong bookings for all remaining 2022 departures in Croatia. “Croatia was one of the earliest European countries to be fully ‘open for business,’ and this helped grow our bookings early on.”

Katarina Line offers similar savings on other 7-night cruises. These include cabins on the MS Aquamarin, which runs the popular one-way Adriatic Explorer cruise program between Opatija and Dubrovnik. To end the 2022 season on a high note, Katarina Line is offering last-minute specials throughout its fleet. In addition to exploring its famous waterfalls, guests enjoy a wine tasting and light tapas lunch at a local winery.

Other ports of call include the island of Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. They can take a barge ride to explore the mandarin groves and wildlife along the river’s delta and see the remains of Roman sculptures and ruins.

All prices are based on double occupancy and are subject to current exchange rates for the Euro, which can fluctuate.
