The Spain Tourism Board participated in this year´s edition of ILTM Asia Pacific held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center last 6th – 8th September.
Present with the Spain Tourism Board were the city of Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, and the World Heritage Cities of Spain as well as Palladium Hotel Group, El Corte Ingles Department Stores, and the La Roca and Las Rozas Village luxury outlets.
In addition to the more than 350 meetings held by the representatives from Spain, members of the travel trade industry and media were able to savor a taste of Spain by creating their own tapas in a lunch reception that featured different products such as Spanish cheeses, anchovies, olives and jamón.
“The Spain Tourism Board together with the regional tourism boards and members of our hospitality sectors, continuously aim to connect with the quality segment. We are doubling our efforts to supply them with what´s new in Spain in terms of premium products and unique experiences. With the wider opening of borders and easing travel restrictions, we are very optimistic to see an increase in the number of hotel room nights.” , stated Monica Sanchez – Director of Spain Tourism Board for Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
