Australians who have missed the chance to honour the Anzac heroes at Gallipoli over the past two years can be at Anzac Cove in 2023 for the moving dawn service as part of a special small ship journey through Greece and Turkey offered by Australian small ship cruising specialist, Cruise Traveller.

The holiday package starts on April 18, 2023, with three complimentary nights at a hotel in Athens. including a half-day tour of the famous Acropolis and other local attractions. Guests then board Harmony V for a seven-night voyage to Istanbul via six destinations across Greece and Turkey including the ancient Greek ruins on the island of Delos, the sun-kissed beaches of Mykonos and the enchanting villages and monasteries on the island of Chios.
Harmony V will then take guests to the less-visited Turkish island of Bozcaada with its secluded coves and authentic tavernas. Next day, Anzac Day, the vessel will arrive early in Canakkale, Turkey, near Gallipoli, so guests can attend the Dawn Service at Anzac Cove, followed by a traditional game of two up with fellow guests back on the ship. Next day, a full-day tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula hosted by historians and local guides will feature visits to the Lone Pine Cemetery, the original Allied and Turkish trenches, the War Museum and other sites important to the fateful 1915 landing of Australian and New Zealand troops.
The final destination is the beautiful Turkish island of Imbros before the cruise ends in Istanbul.
