The research team at SlotsUp has set out to find out in their new study by scrutinously analysing almost 80 casinos around the globe, based on 17 different factors, to determine where exactly the world’s best casinos are located.
They have pulled back the curtain and scored each casino on the price of their entrance fees, choice of games and amenities, such as restaurants, bars and spas. Plus, the most accessible casinos to travel to, the casinos with the best reviews and the safety of the cities where the casinos are located.
Each casino has been given a score out of 170 and ranked in the top 20.

The data reveals that the best casino in the world is the Wynn Macau in China, with an overall luxury score of 142 out of 170. They boast nine restaurants offering everything from fine dining to finger food, over 1,500 games available to play, and 28 shops, including designer label outlets such as Gucci and Versace. As well as a spa, pool, gym, a hotel attached and an art gallery. Oh, and you can enter the luxury resort for £0!

Although Las Vegas heavily dominates the top 10, it may be a surprise to some to see some of the biggest attractions from Las Vegas Boulevard, such as the Bellagio, being pipped to the number one spot by the Wynn Macau.
But Macau, China, is home to just as many of the world’s most luxurious casinos as Las Vegas, with both locations home to a commendable 40% of the world’s top 10.
Just narrowly missing the top spot for the world’s most luxurious casino is The Venetian in Las Vegas, which ranks in second place with an overall score of 141 out of 170. The Venetian boasts a whopping 35 restaurants, over 7,000 hotel rooms, over 1,400 games available to play, 116 shops, nine bars, a pool, spa and gym on-site.

Despite embodying the spirit and excitement of Venice, what let The Venetian down and allowed Macau to scrape the top spot was the reviews and cleanliness scores.
Where Wynn Macau has a 5-star rating on Trip Advisor, and 15% of all reviews mention the cleanliness of the casino, The Venetian has a 4.5-star rating, yet only 4% of reviews mention cleanliness.
However, three of the world’s top four casinos are all located in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The American desert-dwelling city is synonymous with the gambling and casino scene, so it is no surprise that casinos such as The Venetian rank highly, as well as the amazing Aria in third place with a 138.14 total score out of 170, plus the brilliant Bellagio which places fourth with a 136.94 total score.
The top 10 rankings also saw the likes of Singapore making an appearance, with the grand Resorts World in Sentosa making an entrance in fifth place with a score of 136 out of 170. Located just off the southern coast of Singapore, Resorts World is unrivalled in its intimate knowledge of Asian gaming preferences.
