Crown Towers Sydney has been awarded Australasian Hotel of the YearBest Luxury Hotel of the Year and Best New Hotel of the Year at the 2021 HM Awards on 4 December 2021.

Opening on 28 December 2020, Crown Towers Sydney redefined luxury in Australia with the spectacular and pioneering design by Wilkinson Eyre dominating the Barangaroo precinct.

Crown Sydney Chief Operating Officer, Mark Holmes, said “to win these prestigious awards is an honour and testament to our vision to become Australia’s best luxury hotel and to ensure we offer all of our guests a truly bespoke world-class experience at Crown Towers Sydney”.

The HM Awards, for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, are the leading industry awards in the region and celebrate the best properties, departments, people, chains and brands in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Each year, more than 1,500 nominations are assessed to determine more than 40 category winners.

Crown Towers Sydney also received a highly commended mention in the Best Tech Hotel 2021 category.

Standing at 275m high, Crown Sydney has already become an iconic landmark of the harbour city, with its unique petal-like design overlaid with a façade comprising of over 8,000 glass panels, all individually cut and unique in their size which creates an ever-moving reflection of the surrounding harbour.

Taking inspiration from its incredible harbourfront location, the building has been spectacularly designed to hero coastal hues that are symbolic of the natural surroundings and create a synergy with the local environment.

The Crown Sydney interiors were designed by globally renowned New York design house, Meyer Davis, with a focus on embracing the abundance of natural light to create a warm and serene feel of relaxed luxury.
