The potential for cruising must be a hot bet for the future because it is all change in the exciting world of cruise bookings for agents.
Why? Well here you go!
Express Travel Group owned Creative Cruising, it will be said launching a new cruise booking tool called Cruise Spirit for independent travel members in Australia and New Zealand, early in 2021, saying it will negotiate and deliver the very best deals for members working closely with cruise suppliers.
It appears that the new group’s members will be able to access cruise packages with special handpicked inclusions, along with dedicated sales and marketing support and priority communication channels, with members having access to leading cruise technology platforms and what appears the biggest bonus of all, all travel agency partners will receive their own website.
Creative Cruising’s launch of Cruise Spirit appears to be going on a head on competitive course with the 20 year old and very successful Cruiseco travel agency consortium owned by Phil Hoffmann and Kevin Dale and previously led by Steve Lloyd, but hang on there is news there too, with Helloworld announcing that it had acquired Cruiseco, which it is reported will be combined with Helloworld’s existing Seven Oceans business.
Cruiseco was established 20 years by Phil Hoffmann, Kevin Dale and Steve Lloyd, with APT’s parent company APH acquiring a stake in Cruiseco in 2005, with in 2017 when Steve Lloyd, retired APH becoming two thirds owners.
